"Fragrant Edits, Vol. 1" is the debut release from brand new label Duchesse, and this ten-track wonder does not disappoint!

First up is Saint Paul with "Highness Of Disco", a sublime groover featuring a subtle bass line continually underscoring a heavenly disco vibe. Hot on its heels is "Nag Champa" by Hotmood, a freaky jam with a stomping beat and funky guitar riffs aplenty! In at number 3 is Pookie Knights with "Think About It", a soulful, hands in the air tune brimming with get-up-and-dance energy! Keeping the mood going at fourth place is Monsieur Van Pratt with "Power Funk", a track whose name speaks for itself. You’ll be struggling to get this powerful, funky disco refrain out of your head all week! At the halfway mark is "Freakin" by Alexny, a rolling, freaky jam that’s made for the dance floor! Up next is "Disco Street" by The Velvet Stripes, with a silky-smooth vibe from the onset, you’ll wish you lived on Disco Street! At number 7 is Ezirk with "Groovy Baby", an uplifting groover with a pounding beat and a vocal hook that’ll keep you coming back for more. Following that and taking things down low is C. Da Afro with the smooth, laid back tune "D For Disco", featuring sententious vocals and luscious electric pianos from start to finish. The penultimate track, "Make Some" by GMGN hits the ground running with an insatiable beat, relentless funk guitars and an utterly infectious bass line! Last, but by all means not least, is Nnatn with "Cheick", an incredibly unique jam with gorgeous flute and guitar licks throughout, a super catchy bassline that’ll have you tapping your hands and feet in no time, and a beautiful yet ghostly vocal refrain who’s one brief appearance is the cherry on the top of a very tasty disco cake! The perfect way to finish a perfect debut release for Duchesse.
